1. Who We Are

Padeliva is a padel platform for players, clubs and tournament organisers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

The company responsible for your personal information (the "data controller") is:

Padeliva LLC — Limited Liability Company

Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Commercial Licence No. 2647034.01

Contact: info@padeliva.ai

We process personal information in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information created as you use Padeliva

Match video and camera footage

Section 5 explains this in full, including who processes the footage and how to decline.

3. How We Use Your Information, and Our Legal Basis

We only process your personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so.

Necessary to provide the service you asked for

Only with your consent

We ask for your consent separately, at registration, for each of the following. You can give or withdraw each one independently at any time.

To meet legal obligations

4. Your Consent, and How to Withdraw It

Where we rely on your consent, we record which version of this policy you accepted and when. You are never asked to consent to everything as a single block.

You can review and change every consent at any time in the app, under Settings → Privacy & Data. Withdrawing a consent takes effect immediately and does not require you to delete your account.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while the consent was in force, and it does not affect processing we carry out on a different legal basis — for example, we will still keep transaction records we are legally required to keep.

Some features depend on a particular consent. If you withdraw consent for your profile to be shown to other players, for example, partner matching will no longer be available to you. The rest of the service continues to work.

5. Match Video and AI Analysis

Some courts are fitted with cameras that can record or stream matches. This section explains what happens to that footage.

What is captured

Video of the match, in which you and the other players are visible and identifiable. Where a match is linked to your account, the footage and any analysis derived from it are associated with you.

Who processes it

Match video is processed by Rackety, a third-party analysis provider, whose analysis engine is Padelytics. Rackety produces the recording, any highlights, and — where AI analysis is enabled — individual performance statistics for each player in the match. Rackety acts as a processor on behalf of Padeliva or the club operating the court.

Automated analysis of you as an individual

AI match analysis produces statistics about your individual performance, generated automatically without human review. It is used to show you and, where applicable, the club or coach, information about how you played. It is not used to make any decision that produces legal effects for you or that significantly affects you.

Your choices

6. Who We Share Your Information With

Other players

If you have consented to it, your name, profile photo, skill level and play statistics are visible to other players for partner matching and to opponents in matches you take part in. Your email address and mobile number are never shown to other players.

Clubs and tournament organisers

When you register for a tournament, social event, open match or court booking, the club or organiser running it receives the information they need to operate it — typically your name, your registration details and your results.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate the platform. They process personal information only on our instructions.

We do not permit any of these providers to use your information for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Where Your Information Is Stored

Padeliva's application, database and uploaded media are hosted in the European Union, in a data centre in Vilnius, Lithuania. Lithuania is an EU member state whose data protection law provides an adequate level of protection.

Some of the service providers listed in Section 6 process limited information outside the UAE and the EU — for example, push notification delivery. Where that happens, we only use providers who are contractually bound to protect your information to the standard required by UAE data protection law.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

InformationRetention period
Account and profileFor as long as your account is open
Account after you delete itRemoved within 30 days — see Section 9
Match, tournament and event historyRetained in anonymised form after account deletion, because it forms part of other players' records
Match video and AI analysisRetained by the club or provider operating the court for the period they set; analysis linked to your account is removed when your account is deleted
Payment and transaction recordsRetained for the period required by applicable financial and tax law, regardless of account deletion
Support correspondence24 months from the last message
Technical and security logs12 months

9. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the app, under Settings. When you do:

Matches, tournaments, events and bookings you took part in are not deleted, because they are also the records of the other players, clubs and organisers involved. Instead, they are anonymised: your identity is removed and you appear only as an unnamed former participant. Those records can no longer be linked back to you.

Records we are legally required to keep, such as payment and transaction records, are retained for the period the law requires and then deleted.

Account deletion cannot be undone.

10. Your Rights

You have the following rights over your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, use Settings → Privacy & Data in the app, or contact us at info@padeliva.ai.

We will respond to any request within 30 days. If a request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you within that period and explain why.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information or your request, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain directly to the UAE Data Office, the federal supervisory authority for data protection, at uaedataoffice.gov.ae.

11. Keeping Your Information Secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including:

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot promise absolute security.

If something goes wrong

If a personal data breach occurs that affects the security or confidentiality of your information, we will notify the UAE Data Office without undue delay. Where the breach is likely to prejudice your privacy, we will also notify you directly and tell you what happened, what it means for you, and what we are doing about it.

12. Age Requirement

Padeliva is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You must confirm that you are 18 or older to create an account.

Under UAE law a person under 18 is a minor and cannot give valid consent to the processing of their personal data — consent must be given by a parent or guardian. We do not currently offer a guardian consent process, and we therefore do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please contact us at info@padeliva.ai and we will delete the account and the associated personal information.

13. Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer, who is responsible for overseeing how we handle personal information and for answering questions about this policy.

You can contact our Data Protection Officer at info@padeliva.ai, marking your message for the attention of the Data Protection Officer.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change — particularly one that affects what we collect, why, or who we share it with — we will tell you in the app and, where the change relies on your consent, ask you to agree to it again.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
